CLASSIFICATION: W-2 hourly or 1099 hourly. Part-time.
COMPENSATION RANGE: $15.00 - $35.00 per our commensurate on experience, education and credentials. Benefits also include paid time off, medical / dental / vision insurance premium support, retirement benefits.
WORK SCHEDULE: Up to 20 hours per week as scheduled by the supervisor and on call as needed
ANTICIPATED TRAVEL: 50% of the time. You will use a company vehicle. There is no additional compensation for travel.

SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber to perform a wide variety of plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks across residential and commercial properties in the Baltimore area. This part-time role offers flexible hours and is ideal for a licensed plumber looking to supplement their existing workload or take on project-based work.
The plumber will respond to routine service requests, emergency repairs, and planned upgrades-working independently or in collaboration with property maintenance and renovation teams.
SCHEDULED DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drain systems, fixtures, and appliances (e.g., sinks, toilets, water heaters) Diagnose and resolve leaks, clogs, low pressure, and other plumbing issues Replace or repair damaged piping, valves, or connections Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems Ensure work is completed in compliance with local plumbing codes and safety standards Maintain accurate records of services provided, parts used, and hours worked Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism in residential and commercial environments UNSCHEDULED DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist supervisor with work related requests. • Responsible for following regulations of COMAR, CARF, any other regulatory body, and company policies/ procedures related to service delivery and documentation and co-facilitating orientation of all new hires to these as well. • Support the maintenance of a safe environment by participating in training and drills as requested. • Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client's treatment. • Participate in external and internal audits/surveys (CARF/CSA/OHCQ) as directed by the supervisor. • Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement plans by completing periodic audits or other activities to ensure regulatory compliance and/or improve service delivery.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Regularly walk, stand or stoop; occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 100 pounds; and regularly drives a motor vehicle.
WORKING CONDITIONS: • Work is performed indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions. • May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. • Exposure to potentially hazardous materials, heights, and tight spaces. • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in certain situations.
COMPETENCY / EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 3 years of experience in residential and/or commercial plumbing Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and materials Reliable transportation and own tools Ability to work independently and troubleshoot efficiently Must carry or be willing to obtain general liability insurance (if 1099) Experience in multi-unit housing, affordable housing, or supportive housing settings Ability to assess and quote materials/labor for small projects EDUCATION: • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
Gas line or backflow certification a plus Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Valid Maryland journeyman or master plumber license
