Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of CNC production equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills, including wiring and rewiring up to 480V. Root cause analysis and a continuous improvement mindset are essential. Experience with robotic automation systems and CNC honing/reaming machines is a plus. This is a 2nd shift position with competitive pay and overtime opportunities.
2nd Shift:
Monday - Thursday (4x x 10-hour Shift)
5:00pm – 3:30am
Occasional overtime opportunities
Compensation:
$28-$32 / hr base

Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance
– Perform routine tasks such as lubrication, filter changes, and equipment cleaning in line with manufacturer guidelines.
Troubleshooting & Repair
– Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to restore safe, efficient operation.
Root Cause Analysis
– Investigate equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Basic Machining
– Conduct light machining tasks necessary for equipment repairs.
Technical Documentation
– Interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders to guide repair and maintenance efforts.
Equipment Installation
– Move, install, and connect plant equipment, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Collaboration
– Work closely with operators and production teams to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
Inventory Management
– Organize, label, and maintain parts inventory for efficient access.
Safety & Compliance
– Adhere to all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and regulatory standards.
Reporting
– Document maintenance tasks, communicate equipment status, and escalate issues to leadership.
Qualifications
Maintenance Experience
– 3+ years of relevant maintenance experience, preferably in a CNC machining environment.
CNC Equipment Knowledge
– Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining CNC lathes, mills, and manual machining equipment.
Electrical Expertise
– Skilled in electrical wiring and rewiring up to 480V.
Technical Literacy
– Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Mechanical & Electrical Troubleshooting
– Strong problem-solving skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Tool Proficiency
– Comfortable with forklift operation, power tools, and electrical meters.
Organization & Time Management
– Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines.
Independence & Teamwork
– Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team environment.
