Your Role in Healthcare Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostics, and developing tailored care strategies Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues independently or in collaboration with physicians (based on your credentials) Guiding patients and families on wellness, prevention, and disease care Prescribing medications and treatment plans within your professional scope Engaging in patient follow-ups and chronic care management Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, holistic care Accurately documenting patient information within electronic health records (EHR) Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Credentials Needed
Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida National policy certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a relevant specialty Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capable of attaining them within 90 days) Skills to Shine
