We are seeking a reliable and skilled Fabrication Shop Operator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for using a CNC Fiber Laser cutting machine, fabricating, assembling, and welding metal parts according to blueprints, technical drawings, or customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
CNX Laser Cutter Operation Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols. Measure, cut, and shape metal materials using various tools and machines (e.g., saws, torches, grinders). Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on a variety of metals (e.g., steel, aluminum, stainless steel). Fit and assemble fabricated metal parts using tack welding, bolts, clamps, and other tools. Operate shop machinery and equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., press brakes, shears, drill presses). Inspect finished welds and fabricated components for quality and adherence to specifications. Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing proper PPE. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist in loading/unloading materials and completed products as needed. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job progress and issues. Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or welding certification preferred. 1-3 years of experience in metal fabrication and welding. Proficient in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods. Forklift experience or certification is a plus. Work Environment:
Industrial fabrication shop environment with exposure to noise, heat, and machinery. Requires the use of PPE including gloves, helmets, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots. M/F/Vets/Disabled and other protected categories
