Salary Range:
$75608 to $86340 USD Annually

What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is the primary resource for all plant functions in the division. This role ensures production goals are achieved while maintaining strict compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. The incumbent has an extensive knowledge of the manufacturing processes, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed to meet the production schedule. They also promote a positive culture and ensure the day-to-day activities of the plant floor align with the company's goals and objectives.
Responsibilities: Plans, communicates and coordinates daily work activities for all departments (Coating lines, Batching, and Milling) to meet organizational KPIs for line production, efficiency, quality, labor utilization, and housekeeping. Embodies a positive culture that fosters a solid team attitude and work ethic. Develops, trains, and evaluates production employees on an individual basis. Maintain operational targets including throughput, yield, waste reduction, and downtime management. Responsible for maintaining and documenting process quality in accordance with company standards. Ensure adherence to safety protocols, hazardous material handling procedures, and environmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.). Conduct safety inspections, participate in incident investigations, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions. Oversee and lead a team of operators, ensuring proper training, task delegation, and performance management. Track and document production metrics, material usage, and shift reports in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to resolve production issues and drive continuous improvement. Maintain an organized and compliant work environment using 5S and Lean principles. Ability to handle stress and to interact with others to establish and maintain a positive and productive work environment and minimize personal conflicts. Work Schedule: 1:30pm to 1030pm Monday to Friday
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or technical certification in manufacturing, chemistry, or related field preferred. 3-5 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in chemical or catalyst manufacturing. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Experience using Excel and ERP/MRP systems Works in both office and manufacturing environments Must wear appropriate safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices. Experience in an ISO9001 environment and knowledge of OSHA regulations Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit and stand intermittently, use a keyboard, climb stairs occasionally, and lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodations.
