We are looking for a

Senior

Business Continuity Analyst

to develop, maintain, and execute disaster recovery and business continuity strategies that ensure the organization can respond to and recover from disruptive events. This role works closely with technology teams, business units, and external partners to assess risks, conduct impact analyses, and implement recovery solutions that align with enterprise objectives and regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes operational resilience and continuity of services across the enterprise. This position will be a

onsite in Miramar, Florida.

Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and procedures for critical systems, applications, and infrastructure

Conduct regular testing and validation exercises, including tabletop simulations and full-scale recovery drills

Identify gaps and recommend improvements based on test results and lessons learned

Utilize business continuity management tools such as Fusion Risk Management, Archer, or Castellan to manage documentation, workflows, and reporting

Lead the execution of business impact analyses to identify critical business functions, interdependencies, and recovery time objectives

Collaborate with business units to gather data on operational impacts, financial exposures, and resource requirements during disruptions

Analyze findings to prioritize recovery strategies and ensure alignment with organizational goals

Maintain documentation of business impact analysis results and integrate them into continuity and recovery planning

Coordinate recovery efforts during operational disruptions, ensuring timely communication and execution of recovery procedures

Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity programs comply with applicable regulatory standards such as General Data Protection Regulation, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act

Align program practices with recognized frameworks such as ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management Systems), National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-34 (Contingency Planning Guide), and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL)

Prepare and deliver reports, metrics, and presentations on program effectiveness, readiness, and risk posture

What You'll Need

Required:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (i.e. IT, risk management, cybersecurity)

8+ years of experience in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning in large enterprises

Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 22301, ITIL, and NIST SP 800-34

Strong understanding of information technology infrastructure, systems, and applications

Experience with cloud-based and hybrid recovery solutions

Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with diverse teams

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

Master's degree in a related field

Experience in the cruise, travel, or hospitality industry

Professional certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional, Certified Disaster Recovery Engineer, Certified Business Resilience Manager, or Project Management Professional

Service Now BCM experience

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is $75.00-$82.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
