Description

Salary Range: $27.00-$32.00 +Sign on bonus!

Shift: Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm

The hired applicant's wages will fall within the specified range, determined by various factors

such as experience level, education, qualifications, certifications, skills, location, performance,

market trends, business or organizational requirements.

Overhead Door Technician

Duties & Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair garage doors, dock levelers and trailer locks in a safe, efficient, and professional manner

Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and use proper personal protective equipment when necessary

Perform regular maintenance on garage doors, dock levelers and trailer locks to prevent common issues and extend the lifespan of the equipment

Keep a clean and organized work area, with all necessary tools to complete work.

Diagnose problems quickly and accurately and provide maintenance and warehouse team with realistic expectations for repairs.

Maintain positive relationships with customers and team

Attend required trainings and meetings, and participate in continuing education opportunities as available

Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations

Fill out work orders for every job completed and listing all parts used for job

Make follow up repair work orders with all relevant parts needed for repair.

Capture 7 hrs of work per day on work orders.

Half days could be spent working with building tech to complete inspections.

Training & Experience:

Looking for an individual that has experience in repairs of doors, dock levelers and trailer locks.
