Job Description In your new role you will:
Serve as the product engineering interface between the business unit, technology development, and foundry business. Drive new product introduction (NPI) and yield improvement topics with internal and external partners. Communicate and discuss results with silicon foundry partners, including explaining product test results to enable proper root cause analysis. Define analysis actions for root cause finding and map test fail results to potential process/technology steps. Evaluate and assess split experiments and process changes based on functional test results and PCM data. Handle excursions and problem-solving with silicon foundry, test house, and stakeholders. Yield Engineering:
Recognize trends and suspicious developments, and perform yield Pareto and detractor analysis. Correlate functional test results to frontend data and perform systematic analysis of topics. Map topics to technology, design, or test-related areas for focused root cause finding. Define and drive analysis actions for root cause finding and develop hypotheses for detractor root causes. Address topics to relevant parties (foundry, design, test, FA) and discuss with silicon foundry partners, requesting actions and challenging outcomes. Volume Production:
Perform lot disposition analytics and release assessment. Extract data, report yield, and engage with technical issues. Compile yield roadmaps and track improvement measures. Evaluate correlation tests for new test programs and test program releases. New Product Introduction:
Create GDPW die maps, wafer edge exclusion, and product setup in the Infineon system. Validate the data transfer infrastructure from the foundry to Infineon (PCM, Ink data). Perform data analytics on process splits performance, evaluate process sensitivity, and targets. Coordinate with business lines, project owners, and supply chain on tested sample delivery. Your Profile You are best equipped for this task if you have:
Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or Physics : A strong educational foundation in a relevant field. 8+ years of experience in Product Engineering, Process Integration, or Technology Development : Proven experience in a related field, with a deep understanding of product engineering, process integration, and technology development. Strong analytical skills : Good knowledge of data analysis tooling, statistics, and product test concept, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. Technical expertise : Knowledge and understanding of CMOS/eNVM technology integration and architecture, failure analysis methods (electrical and physical), and reliability methods. Effective communication : Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both internal and external stakeholders. Collaboration and teamwork : Team-oriented, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external teams, including silicon foundry partners, test houses, and stakeholders. Adaptability and flexibility : Open-minded, flexible, and able to adjust to changing situations, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Intercultural and improvisational skills : Fluent in English, with intercultural skills and the ability to work with diverse teams, and an improvisation talent to think on feet.
