Overview
The Intermediate Contract Administrator supports the 355 CONS in acquisition planning, contract execution, and post-award management. This role assists Contracting Officers with file documentation, solicitation preparation, and contract closeouts while ensuring compliance with all applicable acquisition regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research and assist in acquisition strategy execution Draft and edit acquisition documentation including solicitations, amendments, task orders, and modifications Support source selection processes, including evaluation and reporting Maintain contract files and data in CON-IT and other designated systems Analyze contractor proposals and assist in cost/price evaluations Participate in meetings, conferences, and site visits as needed Respond to FOIA, IG/GAO, and Congressional inquiries
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of federal contracting experience (preferably with the Department of the Air Force) 2+ years of base-level support experience DAWIA or FAC-C Contracting Professional certification (or equivalent) Bachelor's degree in any discipline Excellent communication, research, and document drafting skills
Desired Qualifications PMP Certification MBA Preferred A successful background check and drug screen is required
