Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced
Associate Electrical Engineer
to contribute technical expertise to
cutting-edge building services projects
across the U.S. and globally. This role involves
designing, coordinating, and managing electrical engineering solutions
for a diverse portfolio while working closely with
architects, engineers, and clients . The ideal candidate
must have experience working on electrical engineering projects in California
and will play a key role in
developing sustainable and cost-effective electrical systems .
This position offers a
hybrid work schedule , requiring at least
two days per week in-office
at one of the designated locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate
with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to develop
innovative electrical engineering solutions . Design and develop
electrical systems, producing
detailed drawings, models, specifications, reports, and schedules . Coordinate
with
utility companies
and obtain
electrical permit approvals . Manage project proposals, budgets, and resource allocation
to ensure efficient execution. Lead the concept and preliminary design
phases of electrical systems. Prepare technical specifications and reports
for direct client presentations. Monitor project financial performance , ensuring projects remain on budget and on schedule. Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers , fostering professional growth. Ensure compliance
with state building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards. Utilize
Revit and computational analysis tools
for electrical fault analysis and lighting design. Present engineering solutions
to executive-level stakeholders and clients.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of electrical engineering experience
in the
building services and construction industry . Experience working on projects in
higher education, museums, commercial buildings, transportation hubs, and stadiums . Bachelors or Masters degree
in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
is highly desirable. LEED AP accreditation
is preferred. Proficiency in
Revit
for electrical system design. Experience using
electrical fault analysis and lighting design software . Strong
problem-solving and technical troubleshooting
skills. Excellent client-facing and communication skills , with experience presenting to senior stakeholders. Ability to
propose multiple engineering solutions , evaluating benefits and drawbacks for clients.
