Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Surface Preparation
: Prepare surfaces by cleaning, grit blasting, and masking as necessary to ensure proper adhesion of thermal spray coatings.
Air Spray Application
: Apply paints and/or slurries using HVLP/conventional spray equipment.
Material Selection
: Select appropriate materials based on project requirements and specifications.
Quality Control
: Inspect coated surfaces for uniformity, thickness, and adherence to standards.
Documentation
: Maintain accurate records of coating parameters, material usage, and process details.
Safety Compliance
: Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of air spray equipment.
Collaboration
: Work closely with other team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet production goals and quality standards.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
: Perform routine maintenance on air spray equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the coating process.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Experience
: Previous experience in air spraying is preferred. Ability to learn turbomachinery equipment basics.
Attention to Detail
: Precision and meticulousness in coating application to achieve consistent results.
Safety Consciousness
: Strict adherence to safety guidelines and protocols. Ability to safely operate forklifts.
Team Player
: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Documentation Skills
: Accurate record-keeping and documentation.
Physical Stamina
: The role involves standing, lifting, and working in a variety of environments. Physical ability to work in a shop environment.
Shift Availability
: This is a day shift position. Be available to work overtime when necessary.
