Position Summary: We are looking for a skilled Electrical Estimator specializing in substation projects. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for substation construction and upgrades, analyzing project requirements, and submitting competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed cost estimates for substation projects, covering materials, labor, and equipment. Analyze drawings, specifications, and project scope to identify cost factors and risks. Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotes and pricing. Prepare and submit bids, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate project execution and reporting. Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred. Experience:
3+ years in electrical estimating, focused on substations. Technical Skills:
Proficient in estimating software, strong knowledge of substation systems and Microsoft Office applications. Skills:
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
