The
Legal Assistant / Paralegal
isresponsible for the specific duties listed below.
Legal Assistant (Intake and Demand Reviewer) - Responsibilities: Answer inbound client calls with empathy and professionalism, qualifying cases and confirming eligibility. Guide clients through the sign-up process and secure retainers. Hand off cases to attorneys and lead paralegals with complete and accurate information. Maintain responsiveness as a key builder of trust with clients and partners. Review medical records, bills, and evidence for accuracy and completeness. Conduct verdict and settlement research to strengthen case valuation. Use AI tools to accelerate drafting without sacrificing quality. Maintain a 0% error rate in final submissions. Case Manager - Responsibilities:
Open insurance claims and manage communications with carriers. Request, track, and follow up on medical records and police reports. Monitor lien and subrogation issues, ensuring timely resolution. Partner with lead paralegals to prepare cases for demand drafting. Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks to keep cases moving forward. Specific qualifications for the position include :
5+ years of experience in personal injury legal work, including demand drafting, reviewing, case management, or claims handling. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a proven ability to manage high-volume caseloads. Knowledge of presenting cases persuasively for maximum settlement value. Strong communication skills with clients, attorneys, and team members. Comfortable working with technology to improve efficiency and workflows. Pay Rate Range :
$70,000+ DOE
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
