Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
Summary: The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of manufacturing equipment and systems. This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and supporting production operations to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance on production machinery, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and other industrial equipment. Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities. Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment. Repair or replace defective parts and components to restore equipment to safe and efficient operation. Equipment Installation & Upgrades: Assist with installation, alignment, and commissioning of new machinery. Implement equipment modifications to improve efficiency and safety. Technical Support: Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and work with production teams to minimize downtime. Collaborate with engineers and supervisors on process improvement initiatives. Safety & Compliance: Follow all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations. Ensure machines operate within compliance and perform routine safety checks. Documentation: Maintain detailed service logs, work orders, and spare parts usage reports. Update maintenance schedules and technical manuals as needed. Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical or trade school preferred). 3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems (up to 480V), PLCs, and hydraulics. Experience with injection molding Welding experience preferred Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. Proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and power tools. Basic computer skills (CMMS experience a plus). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team. Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Comfortable working in industrial environments with noise, heat, and moving machinery. Preferred Certifications (a plus):
OSHA 10/30 certification Electrical or Mechanical Technician Certification PLC troubleshooting experience
