standardsACPE IV certificationProven experience leading sterile and non-sterile teams in a 503A settingExperience with regulatory compliance, QA documentation, and cleanroom oversightStrong communication, process improvement, and leadership skillsMust HavesWhat this job actually looks like day to day:Lead compounding teams across multiple shifts, driving efficiency and accountabilityOwn the batch production process, from planning and throughput to in-process controls for Non-sterile to Sterile CompoundingScale workflows and SOPs as the pharmacy grows — including automation and cleanroom expansionsOversee facility readiness, audits, and environmental monitoringMentor compounding technicians, supervisors, and support staff with a focus on safety and qualityCollaborate with QA/QC on documentation, deviation investigations, and CAPA trackingWork closely with R&D/formulation to bring pilot batches into full-scale productionManage vendor relationships, inventory levels, and production KPIsDirector of Compounding Operations – Preferred Background & SkillsYou’ll stand out if you bring:Experience with PioneerRx, Pestle, or other compounding production softwareLean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement trainingHands-on experience relocating or expanding compounding operationsKnowledge of high-throughput equipment, robotics, or automation systemsA proven track record leading compliance through growth and operational changeThis is more than just a pharmacy leadership role — it’s a chance to lead a growing operation and shape the future of personalized medicine production.
