Sr Contracts Specialist

AMETEK . Reporting directly to the EMIP DVP Finance, the Senior Contracts Specialist will support AMETEK's EMIP Division. This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the Law Department and independently to ensure the review and negotiation of commercial agreements (including NDAs, master supply agreements, and PO T&Cs) are conducted according to AMETEK standards. They will also maintain documentation per customer and company requirements and serve as a resource for contracting matters within EMIP. Major Duties
Review, draft, negotiate, and edit commercial contracts such as Confidentiality Agreements, Supply Agreements, Distributor Agreements, Consulting Agreements, and Master Agreements. Collaborate with business teams to align agreement terms with business objectives and risk standards. Understand company contracting policies and identify legal and commercial risks. Manage and update contractual documents to meet legal and operational standards. Investigate and resolve contractual issues and disputes, escalating to Law Department when necessary. Assess risks and facilitate mitigation strategies. Coordinate with Risk Management on insurance requirements. Work with Corporate Legal to ensure compliance with legal standards. Education/Experience
Paralegal certificate from ABA-approved program or licensed Attorney. At least 5 years of experience in drafting, editing, and negotiating commercial contracts. Manufacturing industry experience is a plus. Customer service experience supporting internal clients. Experience with Export Control Regulations is advantageous. Knowledge/Skills
Sales or customer service experience with significant client contact. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. Proficient in Word; experienced in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams. Ability to handle high volume, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities. In-person or hybrid work environment. Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) is desirable. Compensation
