Administrative Assistant I
Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to fill the position of Administrative Assistant I serving the Finance and Management Utilities Division. The incumbent provides administrative support to the assigned department. Exhibits a customer focused service orientation towards internal and external customers by building and maintaining positive working relationships while displaying a high degree of professionalism. This classification requires knowledge of basic clerical functions, computer skills, data and document processing and customer service principles. Based upon assignment, incumbents may be responsible for providing first line customer services, composing routine correspondence, filing, faxing, scanning, copying, distributing mail, monitoring and ordering office supplies, reviewing invoices, data entry and other duties as assigned. Other duties may include completing related tasks as assigned. Provides first line customer service to internal and external customers; composes routine correspondence and proofreads/edits documents; picks up, sorts, copies and distributes a variety of correspondence, deliveries, and mail; creates and maintains filing and record systems; maintains, monitors, and assists with supplies and inventories; makes appointments and maintains/coordinates calendars and meetings. Actively participates and accomplishes organizational, departmental and workgroup goals and objectives. You are someone who effectively exceeds customer needs by building productive relationships and taking responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty. You actively participate as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals and produce quality outcomes.
