GI Alliance is seeking an experienced CRNA - Float.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Position purpose
Provide quality and versatile anesthesia care under the direction or delegation of a physician for multiple site locations.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
The provider will be expected to travel to multiple locations within specific region. Performs and document preanesthetic assessment and consent. Select and administer analgesic and anesthetic agents and/or adjuvant drugs as necessary to provide anesthesia services. Perform all aspects of airway management. Facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia by evaluating patient response, and selecting, ordering, and administering medications, fluids to maintain patient stability during transfer. Initiate and administer post-anesthesia pharmacological or fluid support of the cardiovascular system. Initiate and administer respiratory support to ensure adequate ventilation and oxygenation during post-anesthesia period. Provide post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care Discharge patient from post-anesthesia care unit Closely supports and monitors life functions. In the case of adverse response to any drug, takes corrective action Terminates anesthesia in a timely fashion, ensuring patient safety to post-anesthetic recovery room. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education:
Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) required. Valid CRNA certification required. BLS, ACLS required, complies with applicable state statutory and regulatory licensure.
Experience:
A minimum of one year or progressive work experience in a multispecialty physician group model preferred.
Performance Requirements
Ability to transport patients in stretchers to various rooms/locations. Ability to perform clinically as a nurse anesthetist in the facility setting on a regular basis Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to collaborate with various clinical staff Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served Knowledge of infection prevention and control techniques Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his or her population-specific and age specific needs Proficient technical (computer) skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritize. Self-motivated with initiative. Adhere to legal and ethical standards of nursing and AANA. Ability to manage conflict and resolve problems. Respond in a timely fashion to leadership Complete required documents for billing and credentialing in a timely fashion. Participates in mandatory training/educational meetings Adhere to facility and organizational policies and procedures.
Equipment Operated:
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.
Work Environment:
This job operates in outpatient healthcare facilities.
Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 150 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
