Job Description:
Winchester Hospital is a 5x Magnet designated, Top 10 Massachusetts recognized 223-bed regional hospital that is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area.
As an Endoscopy Tech for our Endoscopy Team, you will be responsible for the following:
preparing rooms and equipment. assisting with patient care to facilitate an orderly, efficient and safe clinical environment. ensuring the equipment and scopes are properly cleaned and disinfected. providing quality and safe patient care. Facilitating patients in and out of procedure room. Independently performs turn over of procedure rooms (remove used scopes; changing over suction & O2 tubing; performs terminal cleaning of equipment, setting up room, inspects equipment and Endosoft to insure proper functioning) ensures expedient turnaround time in a neat environment. Obtain vital signs and record findings
Education:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent And Completion of a Certified Nurse’s Assistant course Or Nursing Student with two completed clinical rotations
Experience:
Required:
Phlebotomy, EKG or Nursing Assistant
Preferred : ACU or Medical/Surgical
BLS is required
This is a 40 hour day position
