Arnold & Porter has a Client Admin Specialist opening in the Seattle office. The Client Admin Specialist combines administrative precision with client operations knowledge, and requires a proactive, resourceful individual who can manage recurring workflows, maintain team accountability, and ensure compliance with client-specific processes. The Client Admin Specialist will report to the Senior Project Manager. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support a major institutional client-and its relationship partner. This role is central to the day-to-day operations of the client team, with responsibilities including matter management, billing support, internal coordination, and executive administrative assistance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordinating matter openings, data tracking, and updates across intake and reporting tools. Supporting billing workflows, including invoice review and compliance with client guidelines. Assisting with internal approvals for expenses, travel, and timekeeper changes. Managing calendars, meeting logistics, travel, and other administrative support for the relationship partner. Maintaining internal records and helping prepare client-facing status updates. Guiding team members on client processes and serving as a point of contact for administrative coordination. Entering and managing data in legal systems such as Smartsheet and Legal Tracker. Qualifications: Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a law firm or professional services setting. Strong background in administrative coordination, billing, or client team support. Comfortable working across teams and managing ongoing workflows. Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized. Familiarity with legal systems (e.g., Legal Tracker, Smartsheet) preferred. A minimum of a high school diploma, with a bachelor's or two-year degree preferred. Strong skills in MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, various databases, and Internet research skills. Ability to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously. Ability to prioritize and manage time appropriately. Flexibility to work additional hours, as necessary. The anticipated base salary for this position is $60,000 to $90,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
