Description
AMI is seeking a part time, 30 hour per week CT Technologist to join the team in the Manahawkin and Toms River office locations! This is a great opportunity to join a growing outpatient radiology practice.
Part time, 20+ hour per week positions at AMI are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Holidays, 401k & Profit Sharing. Health benefits are not currently extended with part time positions. Offered rates increase based on years of work experience.
The responsibilities of theCT Technologist include, butare not limited to: Perform all computerized axial tomography examinations per departmental policies, as scheduled and upon demand; Perform additional functions including image reconstruction, archiving, filming and other software functions as directed by the Radiologist or as per standard departmental policy; and Any other duties as assigned.
This part time, 30 hour per week position will provide rotating coverage in the Manahawkin and Toms River (Route 37 West) office locations.
The work schedule includes:
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, three (3) ten (10) hour shifts of 6:30am-5pm (Manahawkin) and 8am-6:30pm (Toms River).
Rotating Saturdays are scheduled as needed for PTO coverage.
Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.
Qualifications
Candidates for this position must be a graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program with current NJ license; registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and CT ARRT Board Certified. Knowledge of and proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy is required. A current & valid American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross CPR/BLS certification is required prior to the start of employment.Previous experience or certification in venipuncture preferred for the injection of contrast media via butterfly needle and IV catheter. If not currently trained/certified must be willing to obtain. In-house training will be provided.
