who can confidently lead or contribute to diverse client engagements across industries like healthcare, real estate, manufacturing, and the nonprofit sector.
This hybrid role is best suited for
local professionals in Wisconsin
who enjoy rolling up their sleeves on-site during client fieldwork while also having the flexibility to work remotely when not in the field.
What You'll Do
Manage or contribute to financial statement audits, compliance audits, reviews, and special projects across multiple industries. Serve as a client-facing point of contact, maintaining professional relationships and identifying added-value opportunities. Prepare and review financial statements, disclosures, compliance documentation, and audit reports. Supervise or collaborate with engagement teams to ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met. Apply technical knowledge of
GAAP and GAAS , with
GAS
and
ERISA audit
experience a plus. Mentor junior team members and participate in internal training initiatives. Stay current on new accounting and audit regulations and help guide clients through transitions. Must-Have Qualifications
CPA license (or CPA-eligible
for staff-level candidates). At least
4 years of audit experience
(public accounting preferred). Strong understanding of
GAAP, GAAS , and audit methodology. Excellent client-facing communication and organizational skills. Local availability for
on-site fieldwork
at client locations throughout Wisconsin. Nice-to-Have Experience
Exposure to
government audits
and
ERISA compliance . Familiarity with audits in
healthcare, construction, real estate, nonprofits , or manufacturing. Comfort working with regulators and oversight bodies. Ability to lead multiple engagements concurrently. Why This Role?
