Trademark Paralegal

The Trademark Paralegal will play a critical role in managing complex, high-volume trademark portfolios. This position supports multiple attorneys within the Intellectual Property group and involves U.S. and international trademark prosecution, enforcement, and maintenance. Ideal candidates are proactive, organized, and experienced in mid-to-large firm environments. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and file trademark applications, renewals, and responses with the USPTO Draft goods/services descriptions and review specimens for compliance Conduct and summarize preliminary trademark searches Coordinate filings and ongoing matters with foreign counsel Manage deadlines in collaboration with the docketing team Support trademark disputes, including oppositions and cancellations Handle due diligence, assignments, and ownership updates Assist with billing coordination and foreign associate invoicing Qualifications: 510 years of trademark paralegal experience, preferably within a mid-to-large law firm Experience managing large trademark portfolios and supporting multiple attorneys Proficient with USPTO/TTAB procedures and tools (SAEGIS, TESS, TEAS) Skilled in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate strongly preferred Perks: Annual discretionary bonus 401(k) with generous employer match Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision) Work with a nationally respected IP team in a flexible, people-first culture Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
