We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Storefront team in San Francisco. This team owns the Fermat storefront experience for all our brands' customersbuilding the fast, seamless, and adaptive shopping journeys that define our platform. You'll work across the stack to deliver performant, resilient, and personalized storefront features that operate at scale. In this role, you'll partner closely with design, product, and platform engineering to craft end-to-end customer experiences, from interactive front-end components to the backend systems that power them. Your work will directly impact millions of shoppers, blending technical excellence with a deep focus on usability, speed, and brand integrity. Develop scalable fullstack systems using Go, React, Next.js, and TypeScript Build and maintain integrations with external ecommerce platforms Own feature lifecycles from design to deployment and monitoring Collaborate across teams to deliver impactful customer-facing functionality Contribute to platform scalability, reliability, and developer experience Requirements
47 years of fullstack engineering experience Experience with distributed systems and API design Strong understanding of frontend performance and backend scalability Excellent cross-functional collaborator, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical partners Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to discuss and debate strategic engineering and product decisions Track record of building scalable, error-tolerant, and easily debuggable products Confident in making informed technology choices and advocating for the right tools for the job Driven to deliver secure, well-tested, and high-performing features and improvements Thrive in a product-focused startup environment, passionate about enhancing customer experience.
