Student Health Job Description

Provide urgent medical care and treatment to students Perform diagnostic evaluations and minor procedures Order and interpret laboratory tests, EKGs, and radiological procedures Establish orthopedic treatment and rehabilitation plans in collaboration with athletic trainers Refer students to medical and surgical specialists when indicated Provide oversight and consultation with Physician Assistant, Advance Practice Nurse Practitioners, Athletic Trainers, and other medical care providers Serve as back-up physician for NCAA Division II intercollegiate teams Minimum Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school Board Certification in primary care area (Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, Internal Medicine) License to practice medicine in the State of Missouri Preferred Qualifications

2-3 years of clinical experience post-residency Experience in Sports Medicine

Anticipated Hiring Range

The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $125 to $150 hourly.

Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
