DEPARTMENT AND POSITION SUMMARY: The mission of the Division of

Enrollment, Marketing, and Communications (EMComm), which oversees all

areas of marketing and communications, as well as undergraduate

admissions, is to tell BSU story and to increase student enrollment. The

EMComm team of more than 40 professionals works collaboratively across

all areas of marketing and communications to ensure consistent branding

and messaging and optimize the use of our platforms in supporting our

goals. As a Marketing Assistant/Copywriter, you will be responsible for

producing compelling written content for marketing campaigns across

various channels, including digital, television, radio, and all

recruitment print materials and print advertisements, as well as for the

university website. You will be responsible for creating differently

configured content for digital marketing campaigns and helping develop

storyboards and scripts for television and radio ads. This role requires

knowledge of SEO and keyword research to optimize website content and

support marketing campaigns. You will collaborate with internal teams

and external partners to ensure consistent brand messaging. This

position is located on campus in Bridgewater, MA. This position is

eligible for hybrid / remote work in accordance with BSU remote work

policy. This is a full-time, 12-month APA position and is subject to the

terms of that union agreement. Saturdays and Sundays off. ESSENTIAL

DUTIES: Develop compelling and effective written content for various

marketing campaigns, including digital, television, radio and print

advertisements, social media, landing pages, and recruitment print

materials. Create differently configured content for digital marketing

campaigns. Coordinate with designers, web developers, photographers, and

videographers to manage the development of all assets (such as digital

banner ads, social media ads, landing pages, videos, and print

collateral) required for every campaign. Produce storyboards and scripts

for television and radio advertisements. Develop website content,

including landing pages and lead generation forms, to support marketing

campaigns, incorporating SEO best practices and keyword research.

Collaborate with marketing teammates to maintain a consistent brand

voice and message across all content and paid programs. Assist in

identifying target markets and developing marketing campaigns to help

meet institutional goals tied to enrollment. Manage multiple content

projects and communicate with internal clients and stakeholders. Work

with various external agencies and vendors to implement content

strategies. Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, content best

practices, and potential new channels and strategies. Conduct

competitive research and insights from available market research to

Inform Content Strategy. Additional Duties As Assigned. REQUIRED AND

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree Professional experience in

copywriting, content creation, or similar marketing role. Proven

experience in writing for various marketing channels, including digital,

broadcast, print, and web. In-depth knowledge of SEO principles and

keyword research. Strong portfolio of written work demonstrating

creativity and effectiveness. Excellent written and verbal communication

skills. Strong computer skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and

meet deadlines. Self-motivated and deeply collaborative. Commitment to

with content management systems (CMS). Experience in optimizing landing

pages, understanding of A/B and multivariate testing. Please note the
