University of Missouri-Kansas City . Job Description The primary role of the Simulation Operations Coordinator is to support the UMKC School of Medicine’s Clinical Training Facility (CTF) operations. Responsibilities include event setup and teardown, equipment maintenance, inventory management, and assisting learners, faculty, and standardized patients during simulations. The position is based primarily at the Kansas City campus, with occasional travel to St. Joseph, MO. Mileage reimbursement and paid travel time are provided. Responsibilities include: Maintaining operational hours and supporting simulation events. Leading simulation event operations in collaboration with the Simulation Operations Manager. Assisting in policy and procedure development. Creating a welcoming environment and supporting special events and tours. Developing proficiency with simulation equipment and supporting technical setup and troubleshooting. Maintaining inventory and ensuring equipment maintenance. Supporting standardized patient programs and scenario development. Training staff and faculty on equipment use. Leading quality assurance and safety procedures. Training and supervising students and staff involved in simulation activities. Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s degree or equivalent plus at least 2 years of relevant experience. Degree in technology, healthcare, or education preferred. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in IT or healthcare environments, familiarity with simulation, knowledge of medical terminology, physical ability for equipment handling, and reliable transportation. Skills:

Technical aptitude with AV and simulation equipment, quick learner, strong communication, organized, self-motivated, and discreet. Compensation:

Up to $19/hour, based on experience and education. Application Deadline:
