JOB TITLE:
Contracts Manager LOCATION:
Jacksonville, FL (Onsite position) *Contract to Permanent Hire! Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contracts Manager. In this role, you will work closely with the General Counsel and support the legal department in various capacities, with a special focus on contract review and legal compliance. Key Responsibilities: Assist in reviewing, drafting, and revising contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs). Ensure all contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies. Assist in negotiating contract terms with external parties. Support the contract lifecycle management process, including tracking contract milestones, deadlines, and renewals. Maintain organized records of legal documents and contracts. Assist in identifying legal risks in contracts and provide recommendations to mitigate those risks. Work closely with General Counsel to address complex issues. Help ensure that the company complies with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Assist in the preparation of compliance reports and audits. Provide general support to the General Counsel on a variety of legal matters, including corporate governance, intellectual property, employment law, and litigation support. Communicate with internal stakeholders (e.g., procurement, HR, sales teams) to address legal questions and provide advice on contractual obligations. May act as first point of contact for the legal department. Additional job duties as assigned. Qualifications: A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 1-3 years of experience in a legal role, with a focus on contract law. Experience in a corporate legal environment is a plus. Skills: Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles. Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external parties. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software is a plus. Personal Attributes: Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow professionally. A collaborative and team-oriented attitude, with a focus on providing practical legal solutions. Seniority level:
