Printpack Rigid is seeking a dynamic Account Manager with a strong focus on business development to join our team. This role combines account management responsibilities with a primary emphasis on new business acquisition and growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in prospecting, closing strategic business with new customers, and managing existing accounts for growth.Responsibilities: Pursue targeted business at high-potential prospects with >$1 million in sales potentialUtilize sales processes and tools to understand decision-making processes and identify business results for prospectsCraft compelling messaging that motivates prospects to changeSecure and conduct face-to-face meetings with buying influencersProspect and generate new business consistentlyPopulate the sales funnel with value-added opportunities and accelerate them through the sales processNegotiate to create value for the companyManage, support, and grow new accountsDevelop and execute business strategies/account plans for assigned customersProvide monthly analysis of performance versus targetsPrepare and maintain accurate 18-month Rolling Forecasts and Annual BudgetsManage working capital aspects including inventory and receivablesWork closely with Product Development, Market Development, and other support functionsLead and motivate customer-focused teams of cross-functional associatesDevelop mastery of company products, services, and offeringsProvide unique, critical perspectives to improve customers' businesses and outline ROI of commercial relationshipsRequirements: Bachelor's degree or experience in a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the packaging industryProven success in new business development and strategic account managementExperience working with consumer packaged goods companies and/or OEMs is desiredExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsProficiency in CRM systems, preferably SalesforceAbility to travel 50-60% of the timeKey Competencies: Critical thinking and strategic agilityInfluence and organizational awarenessSelf-awareness and resilienceCreativity and social intelligenceTakes OwnershipCompetitiveIntellectual curiosityPrintpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
