About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Managing Director to lead initiatives aimed at significant carbon reductions through strategic energy sector policies. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the growth of our initiatives, refine strategies, and ensure effective implementation and evaluation of approved plans. A thorough understanding of energy policy and advocacy is essential, particularly within the context of East Asia.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental policy, with a strong focus on climate and energy issues in East Asia. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional organizational and managerial skills, capable of leading a diverse team. A commitment to organizational values and the ability to mentor and inspire others is critical. Excellent communication skills are required to convey complex ideas effectively. A passion for fighting climate change and a willingness to travel are essential.
