General Description: Manages the service and retention of clients as a dedicated day-to-day contact
Responsibilities:
Manage a book of business in conjunction with Producer/Consultant, primarily comprised of fully insured and level funded clients Provide proactive and personalized support to assigned clients and their employees Act as the primary contact between clients and carriers/administrators Educate, advise and aid clients on all Compliance topics, including but not limited to ERISA, COBRA, ACA, and FMLA Implement insurance contracts for existing and new clients Administer a variety of programs such as EAP, wellness, benefits administration technology, tax sheltered accounts, pharmacy, etc. Develop employee communications for policy renewals, enrollment procedures, benefit changes and/or clarifications Address client issues related to billing, eligibility, claims, etc. Prepare materials for client meetings Coordinate, manage and attend client meetings both in person and virtually Initiate client cross-selling opportunities and develop client accounts Assist Producer/Consultant with new business opportunities Manage Policy Renewal and Open Enrollment process Request, analyze and compare carrier/administrator proposals Develop renewal analysis, plan modeling, contribution illustrations, and cost reduction strategies Conduct on-site employee meetings to educate and communicate benefit plans Prepare documents for contractual changes and new carrier/administrator implementations Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
2-4 years' experience in employee benefits industry, college degree preferred Establish effective working relationships with clients, internal partners, and carriers/administrators Stay updated on industry changes, technology and trends Set priorities and manage deadlines Work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal instruction Carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables Organized, detail oriented and prioritizes accuracy Eager to learn new concepts and further professional development Open to feedback and coaching Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products Must hold or be willing to earn Life, Health, and Disability insurance license
