Nurse Practitioner- Physician Assistant, Wound Care- Experienced Growing Wound Care Clinic that provides a multidisciplinary approach to outpatient wound healing and management is seeing a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. The team of physicians and nurses provide comprehensive wound care using the latest evidence-based techniques, which include specialized wound care treatment. The wound care Advanced practitioner safely completes debridement of wounds by sharp, enzymatic, or autolytic methods during the patient visit. Provides application of topical wound care and associated wound management products. Recommendation of associated services to improve wound healing outcomes. This includes, but is not limited to, labs, radiologic tests, vascular tests, referrals, home health care, Negative Pressure Wound Therapy device, and orthotics. Interprets diagnostic tests and recommends appropriate follow up to same. Provide recommendations for prescription of required medications and/or Durable Medical Equipment (DME) to facilitate wound healing and/or wound prevention. Position includes treating patients in the clinic, hospital and possibly nursing homes. Excellent salary and compensation package. Hours: 8-Hour Shifts, Monday Friday, No Call. At least two years experience in wound care management required.
