Dreams YouthBuild is a transformative program dedicated to empowering young people ages 16-24 who are ready to reclaim their education, gain job skills, and become leaders in their communities. Through a blend of academics, hands-on training, and service, participants earn their high school diploma or equivalent while building professional and leadership skills that open doors to long-term success. Our mission is to break cycles of poverty by equipping youth with the tools, confidence, and connections they need to thrive. The Dreams YouthBuild VISTA will play a vital role in strengthening the program's recruitment, outreach, and community engagement strategies to ensure more young people can access life-changing opportunities.
Member Duties :
The VISTA will conduct a recruitment needs assessment, analyzing past efforts, identifying trends, and creating benchmarks for success. They will build and strengthen community partnerships, develop a partnership database, and design communication tools including a recruitment calendar, social media campaigns, and print materials to increase organizational visibility. The VISTA will plan and coordinate targeted recruitment events, gather feedback to refine future efforts, and train staff on all systems and materials to ensure sustainability beyond the service year.
