Are you looking for extra hours and a fulfilling role? We have immediate openings for compassionate Care Professionals for weekend shifts! We are seeking dedicated individuals who are ready to provide essential personal care and companionship to elderly clients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care, including grooming, bathing, and toileting.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean living environment.
Prepare nutritious meals.
Remind clients about medications and upcoming appointments.
Assist with transportation to appointments and run errands as needed.
Requirements:
Fluently speak and understand English.
Have personal care experience (CNA, HHA, PCA, or similar).
Possess a reliable vehicle, current auto insurance, and a valid driver's license.
Pass a criminal background check and driving record check.
Provide references from four non-related individuals.
Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening.
Live in or near Norwood, Sharon, Walpole, Stoughton, Canton, Milton, Mattapan, Hyde Park, Roslindale, West Roxbury.
Additional Qualities:
Show genuine respect and care for seniors and their property.
Communicate in a friendly and professional manner.
Maintain a positive attitude.
Exhibit patience, reliability, and trustworthiness.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
Recent tuberculosis test.
Familiarity with Hoyer lifts.
Ability to work with pets.
