We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Events & Sponsorships Associate to join our Global Integrated Marketing team. This role will support the execution, tracking, and coordination of corporate sponsorships and events and assist the Head of Strategic Programs with daily operations and ensure the successful delivery of sponsorship activations that align with brand, marketing, and business objectives. This role is hybrid role, located in New York.
In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways:
Support the day-to-day management of events and sponsorship programs, including logistics, deliverables tracking, and reporting
Assist in developing and maintaining events and sponsorship calendars, project plans, and activation timelines
Help coordinate cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, events, communications, philanthropy, legal, compliance)
Liaise with external partners and vendors to support the execution of sponsorship agreements and activation elements
Maintain organized records of contracts, assets, performance reports, and budget trackers
Track and compile metrics and KPIs to measure sponsorship effectiveness
Conduct competitive research and benchmarking on peer sponsorship activity
Help prepare briefing materials, presentation decks, and post-activation recaps
Assist with onsite activation support when needed (occasional travel may be required)
To be successful in this role, were seeking the following: High-energy self-starter with 3+ years of related experience and a passion for organizing unforgettable events and high-touch experiences; strong project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines, juggle multiple priorities and execute flawlessly with incredible attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience working in technology tools such as Webex and Microsoft Teams. Natural comfort level and eagerness to learn new applications and systems. Experience, comfort, and maturity to interact and work well with peers and business partners at all levels, including C-Suite. Proactive and collaborative multitasker with strong verbal, written and overall communications skills; willingness to learn and understand event best practices and work off hours and travel ~10%. Bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing or communications or equivalent work experience

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $52,000 and $90,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
