Job summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Commercial Electrician

to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings and facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working with high-voltage systems, reading blueprints, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and maintain wiring, lighting systems, outlets, circuit breakers, and electrical control systems in commercial environments

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams

Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and malfunctions

Ensure compliance with local and electrical codes and safety regulations

Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and other trades on job sites

Use tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, wire strippers, and conduit benders

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures

Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations

Benefits:

Pay Range:

$62.00-66.00/hr.- Depending on Experience

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program

Valid [state] journeyman or master electrician license (if required)

3-5 years of commercial electrical experience

Strong knowledge of the Electrical Code (NEC)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces

Qualifications:

Experience with fire alarm systems, data cabling, and building automation systems

OSHA 10 or 30 certification
