Certified Medication Aides (Med-Techs)
who are passionate about resident well-being and skilled in medication administration.
What You'll Do:
Administer medications safely and accurately under the supervision of the Charge Nurse Document medication administration, effectiveness, and any observed side effects Monitor residents for medication reactions and promptly report concerns to the nursing team Promote and protect resident rights throughout all interactions Maintain medication storage areas in compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations Assist with shift change accountability for all medication records Obtain and record vital signs as needed during med passes Ensure infection control practices are followed, including proper use of universal precautions Communicate clearly with residents, staff, and families while referring clinical questions to licensed staff as appropriate What You'll Need:
Current
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
license in good standing Completion of a state-approved
Medication Aide Certification (MA-C)
program Active Medication Aide certification in the state of Oregon Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude Compassion for seniors and long-term care residents Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to adapt as needed Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English Must pass background check and reference screening Perks & Benefits:
