Position:
HVAC Technician
We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and/or commercial settings. This individual will ensure systems operate efficiently, meet code requirements, and provide high-quality service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities: Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation systems, and ductwork. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and determine proper solutions. Follow all safety procedures and local HVAC codes and regulations. Provide excellent customer service, explaining system issues and solutions in plain language. Complete job reports, service documentation, and timesheets accurately and on time. Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and contractors as needed. Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred. 2+ years of experience as an HVAC technician or in a related field. EPA Section 608 Certification (or ability to obtain). Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and tools. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a variety of physical environments (e.g., crawl spaces, rooftops). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to commute to Swissvale, PA 15218 (Required) Preferred Qualifications:
NATE Certification or equivalent. Experience with both residential and light commercial systems. Basic electrical and plumbing skills. Familiarity with smart thermostats and energy-efficient systems. Compensation & Benefits:
