Job Summary:
The General Maintenance Engineer is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and systems. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems, as well as conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment. Diagnose (http://equipment.Diagnose) and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues. Respond (http://issues.Respond) promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Ensure (http://repairs.Ensure) compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate (http://policies.Collaborate) with other departments and contractors as needed. Assist (http://needed.Assist) in the setup and breakdown of equipment for events or operational needs. Monitor (http://needs.Monitor) inventory of tools, supplies, and spare parts; request replenishments as necessary.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred. Proven (http://preferred.Proven) experience in general maintenance or engineering roles. Strong (http://roles.Strong) knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical. Ability (http://mechanical.Ability) to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics. Excellent (http://schematics.Excellent) problem-solving and time management skills. Ability (http://skills.Ability) to work independently and as part of a team. Physical (http://team.Physical) stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift heavy equipment.
Work Environment:
