Job Type: Full-Time/Permanent Shift: Days
Job Summary: An established outpatient clinic is seeking a skilled and compassionate Podiatrist to join the team. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat a range of foot, ankle, and lower leg conditions. The role involves both therapeutic and surgical care, with opportunities to float between nearby locations based on need.
Key Responsibilities
• Examine patients' legs, feet, and ankles to diagnose conditions
• Perform surgeries such as bone spur removal and corrective procedures
• Treat sports-related injuries including sprains and fractures
• Administer podiatric treatments including casting and laser therapy
• Prescribe orthotic devices and medications to manage pain and mobility
• Review patient medical histories and update charts accordingly
• Order and interpret X-rays, ultrasounds, and other diagnostics
Qualifications
• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine
• Active Georgia state license to practice
• Board Certification required from one of the following: (ABFAS) OR (ABPM) OR (ABMSP)
• Experience in surgical or non-surgical podiatry (preferred)
• Open to new graduates and candidates in the process of board certification
