About the role: Join our Cardiology team during an exciting phase as we introduce groundbreaking solutions in the Electrophysiology (EP) market, a rapidly growing sector in med tech. Our portfolio includes treatments for atrial fibrillation (AFib) such as Cryo, Radiofrequency, and Pulsed Field Ablation therapy (FARAPULSE). Our technologies include 3D Mapping and Navigation systems, Radiofrequency Ablation catheters, Diagnostic Catheters, EP recording systems, and Intracardiac Access Sheaths for diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. This field-based role involves comprehensive training on our technologies, leading to providing expert clinical, technical, and educational support to physicians, EP Lab staff, and sales reps during cardiac procedures using the Opal HDx mapping system within a designated territory, directly impacting patient care and business goals. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining advanced clinical knowledge of EP diagnostic and ablation technologies, PFA, mapping and recording systems, transeptal access tools, and left atrial appendage occlusion technologies. Attending procedures in cardiac CV/EP labs to support Boston Scientific AF Solutions products, including the Opal HDx mapping system, FARAPULSE, transeptal access tools, diagnostic and therapeutic catheters, and WATCHMAN FLX devices. Educating customers on clinical usage and benefits of AF Solutions products through tailored presentations, demonstrations, and ongoing training. Meeting with physicians and stakeholders to assess needs and demonstrate how our products support optimal patient outcomes. Developing relationships with hospital staff, physicians, and administrators to expand influence and support strategic decisions. Responding to clinical and technical inquiries collaboratively across functions like sales, research, marketing, and support. Leading change initiatives and aligning local activities with broader strategic goals. Implementing quarterly action plans and coordinating with sales teams to meet business objectives. Supporting physician education and market development by engaging key opinion leaders and referring physicians. Training on and ensuring compliance with clinical trial protocols and regulatory standards. Managing clinical trial activities within the territory, including Interest Visits and Site Initiation Visits, and educating investigators on procedures and products. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 6 years’ experience with 3D cardiac mapping systems or 10 years in medical device sales, clinical electrophysiology, or equivalent education and experience. Proven technical aptitude with the ability to discuss and explain complex product information. Preferred Qualifications: NASPE/IBHRE CEPS certification. Experience with Atrial Fibrillation, Cardiac Mapping, or Structural Heart Procedures. Existing experience with 3D cardiac mapping systems. MS or higher degree in business or healthcare.
