Job Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for delivering high levels of customer satisfaction, by ensuring that we exceed our customer commitments at the branch. This role would manage all aspects of the daily operations of the branch, including but not limited to: receiving, stock put away, picking, production, testing, packaging, shipping, receiving, and general housekeeping. Additionally, they are responsible for reviewing purchase orders, sales orders, and the creation of the daily schedule. This position will also be directly responsible for the financial success of the branch.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Own, direct and manage all aspects of the branch operations and customer service including, but not limited to, warehouse, operations, shipping/receiving, quality and customer service
Implement and promote the “Echelon Way” initiative to create a customer centric operational model that focuses on operational success and best in class customer service
Manage all personnel activities, including hiring, training, and when necessary disciplinary actions
Responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy
Responsible for both the inbound and outbound quality of products
Utilize available data to meet and exceed customer requirements
Coordinate with the inside and outside sales teams, to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales & financial goals
Manage “will call” customer service to ensure walk in customers are accommodated timely and with world class customer service
Use of ERP and CRM system to perform duties
Qualifications:
Motivated self-starter with a strong, proven track record of operational and customer service success
Experience in a leadership capacity
BA in Business, or another related field and/or 5+ years of high paced management experience
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Strong computer skills including success with ERP
Enjoys working with people and cascades a mentality of customer satisfaction throughout the workforce
Skills and Abilities:
The ability to meet and exceed target goals
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task, and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Highly organized, with the ability to work independently
Hands on approached to management
