Parallel Employment is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist/Fabricator to join our manufacturing client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of machining and fabrication tasks, working with metal to create precise components and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm
Pay rate $25-$28 /hr DOE
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications Conduct quality inspections of machined parts to ensure accuracy and compliance Fabricate metal components through cutting, drilling, and welding processes Maintain and repair machining tools and equipment as needed Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes Adhere to safety standards and protocols in the workplace Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a manual machinist or fabricator Proficiency in operating manual machining equipment (lathes, mills) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Your contributions will play a crucial role in the success of our manufacturing operations.
