Warehouse Manager - St. Louis, MO

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plan, organize, and oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution of goods. Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff; delegate tasks and monitor performance. Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular stock audits. Maintain health and safety standards in accordance with company policies and legal regulations. Oversee warehouse layout and space management to optimize efficiency. Coordinate with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries and shipments. Use warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking and reporting inventory and workflow data. Ensure proper maintenance and servicing of warehouse equipment and machinery. Implement and improve operational procedures and best practices to enhance productivity. Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, supply chain issues, staff performance, and other key metrics. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory management, and safety regulations. Proficiency in warehouse management software (e.g., WMS, ERP systems). Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items and work in a warehouse environment. Education & Experience Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar logistics/supply chain role.
