Autonomy Staffing is seeking an experienced
Electrical & Instrumentation Technician
to fill a position for our client in Spartanburg, SC. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in industrial instrumentation and electrical systems. Our client is looking for someone who excels in troubleshooting and maintaining instrumentation systems such as transmitters, valves, RTDs, thermocouples, and control loops, while also having experience with motors, MCC cans, and lighting.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair
instrumentation systems , including transmitters, valves, RTDs, thermocouples, and control loops. Work with
electrical systems , including motors, MCC cans, lighting, and power distribution. Diagnose, repair, and maintain
low and medium voltage power distribution equipment . Read and interpret
blueprints, schematics, electrical drawings, and equipment manuals
to perform maintenance tasks. Conduct
bench rebuilds and repairs
on various instrumentation components and valves. Troubleshoot and maintain
inverters, drives, micro motions, radar levels, and nuclear levels
(experience with these is a plus). Use
hand tools, power tools, and electrical measuring equipment
to complete tasks safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate documentation using
SAP or similar maintenance systems . Qualifications:
Required:
Industrial maintenance experience with a strong focus on
instrumentation systems Ability to
analyze and solve problems
in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in reading and interpreting
blueprints, schematics, and diagrams Hands-on experience with
electrical measuring devices and troubleshooting tools Strong
computer skills
(MS Outlook, Word, and Excel) Valid drivers license
with a good driving record Preferred:
3+ years of
electrical and instrumentation experience Experience with
AC/DC drive systems
and maintenance best practices Familiarity with
SAP maintenance systems, planning, and scheduling Physical Requirements:
Ability to work at
heights up to 20 feet
and in confined spaces Ability to lift/push/pull up to
100 lbs Comfortable working on
hard surfaces
(concrete, steel, wood) for extended periods Willingness to wear
personal protective equipment (PPE)
as needed, including FRC gear, face shields, respirators, and safety harnesses Why Work With Us?

Schedule:
Monday Friday, 6:30 AM 2:30 PM (some overtime required) Rotating shift assignments possible (to be discussed in the interview) On-call duty required 4-5 times per year
