Marketing Assistant/UnitRequisition IDreq34268Working TitleMarketing Assistant/UnitPosition Grade08Position SummaryThe UNM Press, located within the College of University Libraries & Learning Sciences, has a position open for a Marketing Assistant/Unit. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and customer-service oriented, who can provide manuscript conversion, marketing support, accounting, and royalty contract support at UNM Press. This person should have experience working with financial data and accounting processes at a University Press, as well as be familiar with our EDP processes. The position will report to the Marketing and Sales Manager at UNM Press and will work closely with the Business, Admin and EDP departments, as well as all UNM Press staff. This person must demonstrate excellent customer service skills. Must be able to work independently and as a member of the College and UNM Press. The primary duties and responsibilities for this position include:Updates and processes marketing materials for the Fall 2025 season books published by UNM Press.Responds to a range of inquiries regarding financial transactions; researches and resolves problems.Prepares book files for publication.Processes and tracks royalty payments.Prepares marketing materials for distribution.
