Job Description Job Title: Cath Lab Technician Profession: Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Non-Fairfax Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10 hours Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday Experience: Minimum 2 years experience required License: Not specified Certifications: BLS (must be AHA certified), RCIS
Must-Have: - Strong knowledge of cath lab procedures - Ability to respond to emergencies promptly - Familiarity with electronic medical records
Description: The position requires coverage for weekends through an on-call system. Holidays will also be covered by on-call requirements. On-call rotation is approximately every third week and includes weekend coverage. Call response time should not exceed 30 minutes. The average on-call expectation is 2 weekday nights per week and 1 weekend per month. Holiday expectations include 1 major holiday or 2 minor holidays. Candidates must possess experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC. Cases are typically around 8 per shift. Scrubs will be provided in maroon. Floor orientation will occur over 3 days.
