Scientific Researcher / Sr. Scientific Researcher In-Vivo Pharmacology/Cancer Immunotherapy

The Department of Translational Oncology in Client's Research is seeking a highly motivated Scientific Researcher/Senior Scientific Researcher to join our preclinical team evaluating Client immune-based therapies for cancer. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with scientists from Cancer Immunology Research teams to provide preclinical data required to drive projects forward into clinical development. The selected candidate will work with project teams and in-vivo specialists in designing and running studies. Hands-on work will involve primarily ex-vivo analysis in murine tumor models utilizing state-of-the-art immunological assays to monitor tumor-specific immune responses.
Who you are: Qualified candidates will possess an ability to work both independently and in a team environment with proven skills in basic immunology including tissue processing, immune cell phenotyping, multi-color flow cytometry, and familiarity with relevant data analysis software such as FlowJo, PRISM, or equivalent. Direct experience with T cell functional assays including cell isolation, in-vitro stimulation, intracellular cytokine staining, and ELISPOT is desired; and familiarity with animal models of immune response and/or anti-tumor immunity is preferred. The level of the position will depend on the qualifications of the selected candidate. Minimum requirements are a Bachelor's degree in cell biology, Immunology, Oncology, or a related science. Candidates with a Master's degree or PhD are strongly preferred. 7+ years of hands-on relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as a team member. Candidates must have a proven ability to execute and analyze experiments as evidenced by a track record of publications and/or sustained contributions in an academic or industrial setting.
