Job Details
Reporting to the Director of Donor Engagement, the Community Fundraising Manager serves as the primary liaison to the TWIG and Womens Board auxiliaries, providing consultation and support for all fundraising-related activities. This position is also responsible for leadership and oversight of foundation signature special events, including the annual golf outing and Sugarplum Festival of Trees, and the biennial cha|cha fundraiser. Additionally, this position serves as the manager of the foundation internship program, providing people leadership to student interns.
Top responsibilities are focused on volunteer management and leveraging charitable support through others. Additional responsibilities include managing a small donor portfolio and assisting with identifying annual sponsorship prospects.
Education
Department Specific Job Details:
Bachelors Degree in Event Planning/Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Public relations or related field required Specializing in event planning/coordination and corporate sponsorship preferred
Experience
4-6 years experience in event planning/coordination, annual gift fundraising, volunteer leadership, financial analysis, and general business management or comparable required
Skills
Experience in fundraising, marketing, special event planning, or related field required Previous experience working with and managing volunteers, proven success with people, leadership and professional development preferred
