Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant Program or equivalent required. Current Oregon CCMA, CMA, or RMA certification.Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or obtained within 60 days after hire date.Require critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Works under the supervision of a Physician or Nurse, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
